I have read a bit about this round... has anyone here used it?

Yes, bought one for my son several years ago because he essentially had the same rifle in .243 and 30-06. For cape buffalo in Africa, we ended up getting him a lovely Sauer in .375 due to factory bullet limitations (I am a 300 gr guy when it comes to buffalo). However, this May he will be taking the rifle to BC, when we will try for spring black bear. His rifle is extremely accurate, and should be about perfect for putting down a big boar.

No sir but will be interested to hear what others have to say.

I am having one built right now. Smith actually texted me an hour ago. Im really looking forward to it. Almost all the power of the H&H, with less weight. Kinda like the 9.3x62 except legal in a few more countries. Mine is not being set up for Africa though

Practically this is a copy of 9,3х64, only for .375 bullets. Even shellholder suitable :)

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]
