I am helping sell these for a good friend who lives nearby and is a casual gun guy, but isn't really active in the online firearms or hunting community. Five full 20-round boxes of Federal Premium 338 Federal with 200gr Trophy Copper bullets, plus a sleeve of 9 additional rounds (total of 109 rounds overall). We don't know the exact age of this ammo, but the cartridges themselves look to be in like-new condition; and the boxes show only slight handling wear. My friend who has these lives very close-by, and I will personally inspect and verify condition prior to shipping. I am pretty particular with my stuff, so if any discrepancies are noted, I will contact the buyer and we'll work something out.

Pricing these has been a bit of a challenge, as it appears that Federal discontinued this ammo at some point and there is a scattering of pre- and post-pandemic prices all over the web. I've seen old pre-pandemic listings as low as $55 a box, and as high as $130/box at a local gun show recently (which I think is utterly ridiculous). The nearest match of currently produced ammo on the Federal site (Trophy Bonded 200gr) is listed at $102.99/box, and is currently unavailable. All that being said, I also want to make sure the great members of this community get a good deal as well.

I would prefer to sell all five boxes as one lot, so let's start at $325 USD shipped to the CONUS (basically $60/box plus $25 for shipping, with the 9 extra rounds thrown in free). Preferred payment methods would be Zelle or Venmo, or a personal check that will need to clear prior to shipping.

First person to post "I will take them" below, followed by a PM, will get them.

Excellent rounds at a good price, and very hard to find these days. These have been devastating against black bear, WT deer, and hogs in my experience. GLWS

Thank you for your comment and input. I personally have zero experience with this caliber, but have read similar types of endorsements online. Hopefully they will make a nice addition for someone soon. :)
