.308 Win legal in Mozambique

Hi Chaps!
Been told that no military related calibers such as the .308 Winchester can be taken into Mozambique?
 
Hope someone here can answer this question!
 
No weapons which fall under military categories (7.62x51mm NATO)

I think they are much more concerned about the weapon than the diameter of the bullet.
