As the title says I have a LNIB Right-handed Ruger Model 77 Hawkeye RSI International in 6.5x55 manufactured just this year!
This rifle is essentially new, it was sent back to Ruger because the floor plate was making contact with the front lug action screw, and inconsistent POI issues.
It’s been completely gone over, repaired and test fired yesterday! (See attached receipt from Ruger dated Aug. 06, 2025. I’ll have it back tomorrow.
The stock was replaced, the bolt, floor plate, and crown was repaired, and they polished the chamber! They are including a test fired target after the completed work, and cleaned the rifle prior to shipping.
I broke in the barrel prior to sending it to Ruger. This barrel cleans up as good if not better than any custom barrel I’ve owned! I put 50 rounds through it wondering why it was so inconsistent @ 100 yards. I even ended up even switching out the scopes to see if that helped? Nope, it would group really well, and then a flyer! Even though I was allowing it to cool down between each shot!
I’ll post pictures of it after I get it back from Ruger tomorrow.
$1,500.00 shipped from East County Guns, to a FFL near you. Buyer pays for the transfer on Your End.
I’m sure this would be a better purchase than anything off the shelf since it was completely gone through by Ruger’s top gunsmith technician’s to make certain of function, safety and accuracy standards.
It will come double boxed, with the original box, the original rings, (Not used or installed), and the included packaging and the torque specs being sent from Ruger.
It will include the 50 pieces of Lapua 6.5x55 brass fired in this gun.
