Dear Hunters,
dear shooters,
in the 90-ties I was living some years in Southern Africa and was a big friend of african hunting.
In those years I got hocked up on Big Game hunting, guns and all sort of Big Bore and historic ammunition.
Back to Europe I loaded and shot all sort of Big Bores, all...
My waterbuck. I passed several nice bulls until we found this old monarch. He was 27 inches if I recall but very heavy. One of my favorite species and considering the work that went into him one of the best hunts during my first African adventure.
My last day, last minute warthog!! These pigs turned out to be the hardest, most elusive animals to hunt of the whole trip!! I finally got my chance at last light on the last day of the hunt. It was a long shot at 200 yds in failing light. My PH was Rowan Zerf.
My bushbuck!! We hunted hard all morning for bushbuck and were about to stop for lunch when we stumbled across this beast. This is one of my favorite trophies of the entire hunt. He is almost 17 inches long. My PH was Rowan Zerf.
My wildebeest. I really enjoyed this hunt. WE stalked for about 2 hours in the blazing sun and finally got in a position for a shot. I was surprised at how big a wildebeest is. This bull measured at 29 1/2 inches. My PH was Rowan Zerf.
My first Kudu. As you can see it decided to expire in the middle of a marsh. It measrued 54 inches and dressed out around 900 lbs. I'm pictured wtih my PH Rowan Zerf.
