Thanks for the advice Norwegianwoods! Actually, I've never been on an airplane before so there will be many "firsts" for me on this trip. ;) I'm not too worried about the flight, but I will be contacting the airline ahead of time to warn them that I am bringing medical supplies.

@Timeoff2Fish, My dad and I have bought the 7 pocket hikers available through Cabela's. You will want 100% cotton or at least a fabric a majority of cotton in it. We also bought Cabela's "Safari" shirts in long- and short-sleeve.
