Good Evening! Just picked up a Winchester Model 70 Alaskan in 375H&H. According to Winchester, the 375 "Alaskan" takes bases for the 375 "Safari Express" due to the screw hole pattern on the rear base being closer than the screw holes on the front base. My question is this... can anyone provide...
I have a Model 70 Safari Express in .458WM and a Model 70 Alaskan in .375H&H. I love them both but very different rifles. The Alaskan is noticeably lighter.
