Alright Gents, I’ve got this beautiful 7 1/2” USFA .44 Special “Gunslinger” model made during USFAs short but glorious heyday. Unlike earlier guns that were produced in Italy by Uberti and finished in the USA, this gun dates to the company’s all US production. It comes with its original box...

Wanted Browning 1895 (No Tang Safety) In .30-06

I talked with the folks at Turnbull about this a couple years ago and they said they only offer that service with the 1886 and 1892. I know people who have done a tang safety delete and new hammer, but by the time I pay to have the work done I’d be better off to just buy a browning. Obviously...

    The American Sportsman TV Show

I’ll have to email Mr. Boddington and see if he has anything. I’m 26 and unfortunately never got to experience the show when it was on the air. Being a bit of an old soul I suppose, Bing Crosby, Phil Harris and many of the other stars of yesteryear are some of my favorites. I sure hope someone...

    Georgia gunsmiths?

Appreciate the comments and am aware that if I want “the best” I’ll probably have to ship the gun. I’m simply curious if there is a competent gunsmith in the state or surrounding states that isn’t merely an AR-15 Builder. Was curious if anyone on the forum knew of one, that’s all. I’m needing...

I’m trying to find a good gunsmith in the state or at the very least in the adjoining states. As many of you know, shipping rifles has turned into a gamble these days.

Wanted Browning 1895 (No Tang Safety) In .30-06

I’ve had one newer production 1895 with the tang safety and it honesty just annoyed me. Other than that the rifle was fantastic quality and very accurate, I’m just a stickler for people not messing up things that are near perfect already. Haha
