That is a great looking ridge. I've read your 404J report a few times. It's a great read. I've not had it in my hands yet, but I'm thinking of getting a second heavier stock and keep the original safe.

I finally managed to get over the gun shop and pick up the other 9.3. I also picked up a 308 that was looking lonely! From the top, Sig SHR 970 (9.3x62), CZ 550 (9.3x62) and the CZ 550 in 308. I haven't had a chance to get out with them CZ's yet, but looking forward to it immensely.

Welcome from another uk member. Nice choice of calibres. What classic cars have you had or have? I sold my mk2 golf GTI (modern classic) a few years ago and I'm getting the feeling it may be done for another.

308 & 30.06 - alway available locally 9.3 - can be a little tricky to get hold of. 375 - not a clue as not looked that far ahead yet. A member of my rifle club has offered to teach me how to reload and I've got lots of brass from outings.

It’s on the shopping list. As you say, the 22lr is great for plinking and pest control

The 9.3 is going to purely for boar, with red dot and no mod. the 308 / 30.06 will be a moded stalking. I might end up with one of each, one for hill and one for woodland stalking
