In full honestly I don’t reload and don’t pretend to know a ton about it but just out of curiosity, what rifle are you loading those pressures in? Are those pressures pretty safe for any modern rifle or are they a bit spicy for some of the weaker actions?

Can you elaborate a little? I’ve read about numerous people who have rebored 06 to 35 Whelen and apparently had good results. I’m not particularly tied to one way or the other but would like to hear your experience with the process.

It sure is, it was -55 F in the wind one day while I was bow hunting over Christmas this year. Needless to say I didn’t stay out there very long.

Right now I hunt pretty much whatever is in season wherever I find myself. During the leave periods when I am home I primarily focus on whitetails and coyotes while my time in Alabama has been spent largely chasing hogs, small game, and upland birds with my dog.
