Yeah, my typing left a little bit to be desired. Looking for QR bases for a pre-64 model 70 Winchester. Low Leupold rings for the QR bases would be helpful also.

Leupold has discontinued these. I like these with a set of low Lipo rings and a low 1 inch scope. If anybody has a set new or used, they would like to sell please let me know

Be careful of the slippery slope. The anti hunters are happy with one victory at a time.

I think you ought to keep it. A man can’t have too many left-handed 30-06s. All of mine are well trained. They all shoot minute of dead animal at whatever distance I want to shoot.

Hunter Habib is a bad influence. I dipped my toe in the water last year with a cow cape, buffalo and a cow giraffe. I wanted experience shooting big animals with a big hard kicking rifle. I’m going over again in April on a 10 day Buffalo hunt. Already thinking about more hunts.

An old guy, I know in Wyoming wears these. He’s killed over 25 elk hunting by himself in the timber. He has lots of credibility as far as I’m concerned. I wore a set last year in the eastern Cape of South Africa, going up and down some steep rocky slopes.
