That is excatly why I went with that pose, they are such beautiful animals and I think I would have lost quite a bit of that color variation/change with a standard shoulder mount.

I will hold 4 down comfortably. You can push the 5th down a bit and work the bolt to chamber it so you can have 4 down and 1 in the pipe. I did that twice when shooting it the other day without issue. Just have to be mindful when chambering the 5th round.

I typically wear shirts that need to be long, usually XLTs. I found that the XL size in these shirts fits me well, with plenty to tuck in and not come out when I raise my hands. These are well constructed shirts. YMMV

You could always get one of each style and mount them in QD rings and take both and see what you prefer. A bit more costly but there is no substitute for actual experience with a rifle, optic, etc….
