@Nevada Mike and @Monski, as a fellow lefty, I must say both of y’all’s rifles look fantastic and obviously they are functional works of art. Hopefully there are many more buffalo and other dangerous game in your and those rifle’s futures.

I have also hunted with Raven’s Throat in the NWT, but it wasn’t for moose. I was after Mt. Caribou and Dall Sheep. There were some moose hunters in camp when I was there that killed some fantastic moose. You won’t find better folks than Grizz and Ginger, they run a top notch outfit.

I’ve hunted twice with Wade Renfro. Once for moose and again for brown bear. Based out of Bethel, Alaska. My hunts were in 2008 and 2010, so this isn’t current info by any means, but I would not hesitate to hunt with them again. Very well organized, professional bush pilots, guides, etc… Feel...

I bought the Athlon a month or so ago and have been pleased with it. It is the first/only chronograph that I’ve ever owned so I can’t compare it to any of the others. I bought it mainly to confirm MV of different ammo/rifle combos before ordering CDS turrets for my Leupold scopes.

If you already have a 375 H&H that shoots so well, I’d keep it just like it is. As far as wanting something a bit larger, the 416 catridges are the next logical choice. The Rem Mag is cheaper to feed than the Rigby which typically equates to more practice, which is a very good thing. However...

Lady J charters for off shore fishing. They are awesome. Maybe difficult to get in with them on short notice but worth a shot.

Congrats on an awesome bear. Hide looks to be in great shape. A full mount would be awesome but they do take up a lot of space, especially on a bear that size. A nice full rug would also be cool.

Great looking display. 100% get the lift. Moving large pieces of taxidermy up that high can be a real challange and the lift really helps.

Hot and humid in South Georgia. Lows in the mid 70s highs in the mid 90s. 80-100% humidity, every day. Most afternoons/evenings there is a real good chance for a thunderstorm. Rinse and repeat for the next 3-3.5 months.

416 Rem brass from @Lefty Brad made it to me today. Was well packaged. Very appreciative of the fine folks here on the forum.

I’ve had good luck/performance from McMillian stocks. They do a good job inletting them for the Model 70s I’ve had them done for. Not sure about the recoil reducers. Wouldn’t hurt to ask them.
