    Great to hear that you have it up and running and also that you’re enjoying shooting it. All my experience with identical synthetic versus wood is that wood generally soaks up recoil better. But can’t expand on fitted kickstops.

    The recoil pads not worn out just the leather covering. It took a hiding on some very wet shoot days here. Had the hole form and once that happened wear and tear just let it get bigger.

    Just rubbing the boiled linseed oil and alkanet root with finger tips. First 4 coats used 400gr wet and dry the wipe of excess and let dry after each coat next five 1000gr steel wool. Now onto the final coats. Just rubbing on a letting dry. Waiting now 14days for the lot to cure then wax and...

    You know any one with a 3D printer? Get one made up that works. Then take it to someone with a CNC mill and get two three milled from the printed one. Sell the two you have spare covers your costs.

    Yep looks like it. They say so long as it has the blue strip you’re good to go. Think that started in 2013. I did see a few contrefit notes whilst on the job. I even had some five pound bills for bribes. But they got destroyed when oil leaked through there hidey hole.
