    Newark, NJ Layover Question

I know that a lot of the business class lounges have such a thing, however most ive seen have this service closed "due to covid" even thought it makes zero sense. Additionally, the lounges are past security checkpoint, so I don't think you can leave and come back once through.

SOUTH AFRICA: My First Hunt With Frontier Safaris

Unfortunately most of the newer phones are getting bigger each generation, so it's inevitable to upgrade sooner or later. Having the better picture quality is definitely worth it. I never had my daypack on me (left it in the truck for all stalks), but I kept my phone in my zippered jacket pocket...

SOUTH AFRICA: My First Hunt With Frontier Safaris

My cell phone, Galaxy s22 (the new one they released last month) I hadn't gotten a new phone in 4 years, but went and got it specifically for this trip. I'm very happy with the camera and picture quality

SOUTH AFRICA: My First Hunt With Frontier Safaris

I love my rifle. I have 2 matching ones, but I couldn't bring the other one because of south Africa's rule against bringing 2 guns of the same caliber. The xbolt, in my opinion, is the best rifle on the market. Floating barrel, adjustable trigger, and lightweight. One thing I would do...

Yes, the dinner at Barry's house was incredible. Him and his family are such class acts. You shot quite an impressive package. My next trip will definitely include a sable.

SOUTH AFRICA: My First Hunt With Frontier Safaris

I can tell you that you won't be disappointed. Every aspect of that operation is just above and beyond amazing. There aren't enough good things I can say about them and Barry truly is a one of a kind gentleman. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

SOUTH AFRICA: My First Hunt With Frontier Safaris

I headed out to Africa on the night of March 29th. Took the United flight out of Newark at 9pm. Flight was great, I managed to sleep for most of it. I definitely liked the fact that it was a non-stop flight straight to Johannesburg. Landed in Joburg around 5pm the next day, and got picked up at...

Im riding back to the lodge with Jason as I type this. You're right, it's an incredible package, although I'm only staying 7 days. It's the end of day 5 right now, and I already got everything on the list except kudu. Hunted hard today, but only saw young bulls.

Good to know, thank you. I had estimated about 1500 dip pack and 3k shipping based on other posts. But again, that's assuming I actually connect on 10 trophies. If I go there and manage to land even 3 or 4 I'll be happy.

This is something I keep forgetting, but everyone I talk to says "you will be going back to Africa after your first trip" lol. So maybe I need to keep that in mind. I'm sure I'll catch the bug like everyone else. Good luck on your return trip, warthog is one I'm really hoping for too!

I suppose I'll see what I actually end up with and make a decision from there. I just don't want to not ship something back home and regret it later.

That's so cool, have you hunted with them before? Thank you for that advice, I definitely have an order of priority in the back of my mind. I know it's very ambitious, but it was cheaper for me to upgrade to that package than to add on a warthog to my previous package, which is one of the...

Thank you. It is their largest package available, but it made the most sense when compared to the other packages, from a financial standpoint. I plan on just going with the flow, no pressure type of hunt. I will definitely post a report afterwards.
