Earlier someone posted As an outfitter, Why take 20 hunters a year at 5 to $6k vs 10 at 10 to $15k or 5 at $20k etc.
Those that can afford the higher cost may prefer this to happen. Statistics would suggest more and better quality animals for the remaining hunters.
In addition, I ask... As...

Yes it was a bobcat. Kids gotta watch out. Wolves in that area too.
I have not hunted with Gizmo... yet.
BB are similar in size and speed to springbok. Both herd animals, so lots of eyes and ears.
..and when you blow a stalk you might as well stand up and watch the vapor trail because they aren't stopping anytime soon.
Just wanted to add my .02 since I've...
I came to this thread to post the name of a regional artist that has done work for the "Miller Mirrors" and numerous paintings for Pheasants Forever.... Scott Zoellick

OMG!!!
I HAVE A CANVAS OF THE 4TH PICTURE!! (2 page buff herd) UNITED WE STAND
I purchased it a couple of years ago from a local about an hour away!
I wanted to post a "can you read this", because I couldn't make out the artist signature!
Now I see!

I have been fortunate to hunt some cool animals in some great places.
Unfortunately, non-resident tags to hunt a decent representative (not trophy) of a species have risen to stupid levels.
That being said, my list hasn't changed in over 15 years.
Rocky Mt. bighorn
BIG mule deer

Go to the SAAM school at FTW Ranch for training. Best money you will spend for your buff hunt.
If you do not believe me, check their website
Nothing replaces the real thing, but a different form of practice
I can't find the name off hand, but there is a dangerous game training range in the US. $$$
Granted, not the same as a real animal, but better than just bench/range shooting
internet search for "how fast are RC cars?"
RC cars can reach speeds ranging from 20 mph for beginners to over 100 mph for high-performance models. The fastest RC cars can exceed 300 km/h (186 mph), but most hobbyist models typically range between 30 to 150 km/h (20 to 93 mph).
common Speed Ranges by Type
Brushed Electric: 30–60 km/h (19–37 mph).
Brushless Electric: 60–100+ km/h (37–62+ mph).
Looks doable,. The bracket might take some work. Just don't shoot low.
Just to sidetrack a bit... for those who have used culling belts and cartridge slides... What are your thoughts on butt stock cartridge holders? They never seem to be recommended, but would seem faster access.
I have gemsbok (left turn) and blue wildebeest (right turn) with a springbok in the center top on one pedestal. (Open plains animals) and nyala, bushbuck on a wood tree like pedestal with a full body duiker standing on the base. (heavy cover animals) So I vote with FlyGuy. :)
There are many things I didn't like from my first safari. However; being a member of this forum and reading others posts over the last 4 1/2 years has made me want to try again.
One thing I should have done different was to have my trophies dipped and packed rather than mounted in Africa.
I only...
In the past few days there have been a few threads that brought this to mind....
Like others here I've spent money on multiple pairs of "hunt style" footwear for various temperatures.
I have a pair of Danner mid-weight hunt boots (a discontinued model) that I've had for years. They are by far...
Maybe, but not most Wisconsinites.
As far as beer goes, I used to work for a company that brought Europeans over for training periodically. The American beer they liked best is one that you will be close to the home of: Leinenkugel's. Also try Spotted Cow. (only sold in Wisconsin.) I may...

While I agree in theory, I've been told, by the time you feel thirst you are already getting dehydrated. In addition, you can get dehydrated in cold temps as well where you won't be leaking sweat. Be safe.
True, artificial sweeteners are a long term unknown. Sugar is a good add for a short boost of energy. Guess it depends on what you're doing as to what is needed.
Instructions on packets I have -- All Adult dosages
Liquid IV = 1 per day
Force Factor = 1 per day
Sports Research = 1-3 a day
Wilderness Athlete = To be consumed before, during, or after physical activity, as needed
Since LMNT has 46% DV sodium I'd guess they are 1 per day also
That's why I personally chose to avoid LMNT even at 2 or 3 packets day it adds up.
Sorry Pheroze, didn't mean to hijack your thread. I started another about electrolyte powders.
https://www.africahunting.com/threads/electrolyte-powders-to-take-along.100999/
In a recent thread by #Pheroze the subject of electrolyte powders had come up. I copied my comment from that thread here. Electrolyte powders are a MUST for every hunt for me!
>>I take electrolytes most of the summer, because I got close to heat stoke once and seem to be heat sensitive now...
Love to hear your story. I hope to have a buff in my future as well, so I will be following too.
I take electrolytes most of the summer, because I got close to heat stoke once and seem to be heat sensitive now. As far as Electrolyte powders. My own research has found LMNT has a lot of...
