I have been wearing wool socks with synthetic liners for 50 years. The wool socks can be worn multiple days and the synthetic liners can be rinsed out at night and will be dry by morning. Clothes will be washed on safari but my wife and I do a lot of hiking and there is no washing service.

I have a Mark X that looks very similar except that it says Mark X on the receiver instead of Whitworth. It only says Whitworth on the recoil pad. It has the same case hardened grip cap and a three leaf rear sight. The wood looks very similar as does the cheek piece.

That is much nicer wood than most Tikkas. I have a wood stocked Tikka that looks like stained birch.
