Thank You very much! We had an incredible time! I can appreciate where your coming from but I can tell you there are no regrets and I would do nothing any different if done again. I was prepared completely, my gear was right, I got plenty of penetration...everything worked as it was supposed to...

Id say about 18", the arrow was 965gr and 29", I feel like it would have been much deeper if it had not been as forward as it was.

Sorry for the delay but I've been playing catch up since getting back and haven't been able to post. Sadly all good things come to an end and this was one of them....it gets harder to leave SA every time we go there! Once again we had an absolutely incredible hunt with Limcroma Safaris...

Story to come but the set up was a Halon 32 6 at 71lbs shooting a TAW of 965gr. Its making almost 90KE the MO is .92....The broadhead is a 200gr Massai Single bevel

Sorry for the late reply Ryan, no I don't mind at all. The TAW is 965gr. The arrow is a Black Eagle Rampage 150 @ 29" the Rampage 150 is 16gr p/Inch. I have 3 100gr brass inserts up front with one trimmed back for a total of 265gr. The nock is an aluminum nock weighing 16gr and the fletching are...

Its getting close now...17 days till we leave for my Cape Buffalo hunt in South Africa! I have been getting everything dialed in and had some unexpected testing occur while tuning. Once I had everything dialed in I wanted to get my marks, well I got rushed and was shooting at 50 and went back...

I think that will have to be done....definitely would be a TOUGH pair of gators right there!

Thats what I'm hoping for Dan! As Jan said....they look at you like a loan shark that you owe money to! I was actually going to ask Jan about that when we meet next weekend. As you know they're over here and we have a get together planned with him next weekend to talk more about the trip

No of course they didn't just change the date on me. But they did call and recommend for various reasons to move the date up. I of course approved the change but its still a far cry from August and I wasn't planning on that but....I wont guide the guide and I trust there judgement. I have hunted...

So....to say I'm scrambling is an understatement! I get a call Tuesday afternoon from PH and my 2018 Cape Buffalo hunt for August with Limcroma Safaris has been bumped up to April!! That's right April....58 days 2hrs till wheels up for Joburg. I've been planning this for two years so I'm ready...

I returned from SA last August thru ATL and experienced this. I was traveling with a friend who's bow case "looked" like a hard rifle case and was moved to the inspection room while my case looked nothing like a firearms case and I picked it up off the baggage line right next to the inspection...

It will be epic no doubt. This one has been a life long dream of mine and there is no place I'd rather get it done than at Limcroma! Thanks for the compliments Dan...I'm sure we will have a pile to share when its over!

Absolutely beautiful Buff Dan! Congrats on a great hunt, awesome pics and a great story as well! Congrats to Lisa on some very impressive animals as well! The folks at Limcroma are the best there is and its like going back home again when you go back. I can not wait to get back in '18 hopefully...
