    450 Rigby vs 460 Weatherby

I had my 460 wby built on a cz 550 action that I had gotten off gunbroker for a steal of a deal, originally I had wanted a bigger .458 so that narrowed it down to the dakota, rigby and weatherby but then I looked at trying to source brass and dies and found that the wby was much easier to source...

    1st african animal

The gemsbok was by far my most favorite animal of the safari even though picking my favorite animal is like picking a favorite child lol. I've started doing this years ago for my meat hunts. I have way less meat damage on my whitetail does using my 375 h&h compared to my 270, 7mm and 6.5 prc. I've been using the cutting edge safari raptor 275gr with a medium charge of imr 4350

Day 5 We had completed our list and still had an extra day of hunting so I had made a grave mistake and talked my wife into going after an impala. So the day started with a trip to the range to ensure my rifle was still on for my wife and 1 quick shot proved that it was and we loaded up the...

    8mm rem mag for PG

That's great advice! I'll start bringing my binos with me to the range and start doing drills while wearing them. The only reason I've been doing the 300 yard shot is to try and mimic a back up shot on a fleeing animal
