My VC 450 NE is regulated with 99 grains of H4831 and H4831SC and am quite happy with it. But I will have to try RL 15 this summer just to compare the recoil.

In May roe deer season should be open in Germany. If your visit coincides with the open season then you could consider spending a day or just an evening out hunting with a guide.

For those who use Re15 or 15.5, how many grains for each powder do you use for reloading 450 NE 3 1/4” using 480 gn bullets? I use 99.0 grains of H4831 with great regulation on my VC. I wouldn’t mind trying out Re15 to see I can feel any reduction in recoil.

Ammo price? No. Ready availability of components? Yes. I would not consider purchasing certain caliber firearms if ammo or components are not readily available in that particular caliber.
