He did send me an e-mail saying he will, "Get tot he bottom of it" after he returns from his honeymoon. I will also see him in Harrisburg PA at the Eastern Outdoor Show the first week in February. I want to give him the chance to make it right before I release his name to the AH...
Here are just a few of the impala and the kudu. I was just comparing my pictures to the mounts I received and am now convinced the warthog tusk are not from either of the warthogs I shot. This whole thing just makes me sick to my stomach. I guess a lot of these outfitters think people just have...
I have been extreemly sad and angry this past week after receiving my much aniticipated trophies from SA. My hunt was in June of 2011 in the Limpopo Region and was both good and bad. The good news is the hunt was successful for the most part. Through all the troubles during the hunt I managed to...
Headed to the range this weekend to through a few bullets through it. I haven't decided if I'm going to put a scope on it or not. The from bead on the fixed site is a little hard to see. If I leave the scope off I think I will have to replace the front site. I have read a lot about stock cracks...
Today is a great day! I am now the proud owner of a Ruger M77 MKII chambered in .375 H&H. I managed to find a brand new and still in the box for an unbeliveable low price of $1,100 dollars. The guy I got it from had three of the same model in 375 and and three in 416. Not exactly sure how he...
Real men shot a buff with a .22 then run streight at him with knife in hand to finish the job. Better yet, real men through down the gun and the knife and just rip his heart out with his bare hands.
Everyone compares the two as being ballistically equlivelant. I think it's BS. Has anyone on here hand loaded a 375 Ruger with the same load and bullet as a 375 H&H? Hornady uses their "Special Powder" to achieve ballixtic equlivelants. I have a 3oTC which was advertised as the ballistic...
Thanks for the input. The problem I have is limited time due to work and a long list of hunts I want to do. I hunt primarily with my brother and we have done the Limpopo region a couple of times. My 2011 trip left me with a love hate relationship with my outfitter. The lodging and food were...
Has anyone on AH hunted with African Cape Trophy Safaris? I couldn't find anything in the hunting report section and I am looking to book a 2013 hunt to the Eastern Cape. If any of you could recommend a good outfitter let me know. My primary target is a Cape Kudu and Cape Bushbuck.
I retired from the US Navy in 2002 and now a Program Manager building Aircraft Carriers. Let me know if you need some big guns for your next warthog hunt.
