I have developed a load for my 9.3 x 62 using Reloder 15 and Woodleigh's excellent 320 Weldcore bullet. It moves along at 2,420 fps and really takes this old girl to an entirely new level.

I used the Remington Premier Safari line ammunition on my 2009 plains game safari to Namibia. It was .375 H & H magnum loaded with Swift's excellent 300 grain A-Frame bullet, which performed flawlessly. I highly recommend it.

A Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-6 x 32 if you can find a used one. IMHO it is the perfect scope for the .375 H & H.

I can't comment on the aforementioned cartridges, however I can attest from my own personal experience in Namibia that my Winchester M70 chambered in .375 H & H magnum using a 300 grain Swift A-Frame had no trouble putting the pesky little buggers in the salt.

I can't comment on the Blaser because I've never held one in my hands. I can however comment on the Merkel because I own a 140 AE chambered in .500 Nitro Express. I will say that it is an accurate, fully functioning, reliable double rifle chambered in a classic African dangerous game caliber...

The 9.3 x 62 has a peep sight, the .338 RUM has a Nikon 6-24x, the .458 Win Mag has a 1-4x Trijicon and the .500 Nitro Express double has iron sights regulated at 50, 75 and 100 yards.

I have a .338 RUM. It will launch a 250 grain Berger Hybrid @ 3,030 fps from it's 28" Krieger barrel using a healthy dose of Reloder 33. This particular load is very accurate and stays supersonic out to around 2,000 yards or so.

I own a Merkel 140 African Express chambered in .500 Nitro Express. In my opinion it's an excellent firearm. The wood is nice, the fit and finish is excellent and it works as it should. I have no regrets with this particular firearm.

You think that's expensive, try buying brass for the .338 Remington Ultra Mag.

I shoot the exact same bullet in my 9. 3 x 62 Husqvarna however I am using Reloder 15. 2,300 fps with a premium 325 grain bullet should put a hurt on anything that needs to have a hurt directed it's way.

I also own a Zastava M70 chambered in .458 Win Mag. I had the stock professionally bedded, added a couple of crossbolts and fitted a KickEez magnum recoil pad. I topped it off with a Trijicon Accupoint 1-4x in Leupold rings. It is a good shooter and is definately a "keeper".

I certainly like mine, the buffalo not so much.

I've got a few boxes of .277 caliber 160 grain Nosler Partitions. I haven't tried then yet, I don't know if my rifle will stabilize them. If they shoot OK I bet they will hit like "The Hammer of Thor".
