Anyone using shims on their bases? I’m having a heck of a time raising the elevation on my M70.

Shootist!!! That’s exactly my issue. I’ve been to Cabela’s twice. Can’t seem to match up the rear holes. The receiver has a cut out to accept the length of the cartridge. It would appear I’d need to make sure the scope would have enough tube length as well. What did you end up using for a scope?
