I handled the issue for around 60 bucks plus $10 bucks for 2 RIT Liquid Dyes. 2 parts dark brown and one part dark green gives you a nice OD color. Probably more now. Anyway. An LL Bean canvas long sleeve shirt or two pus the dyes.

Newer cartridge designs will not lower the prices for dangerous game ammunition. At best all it is is “Peeing in the soup” to make more soup. There is no added value. My solution has been to reload my DG ammunition. It is much much cheaper than purchase at retail.

Dangerous game cartridge design is already much more than adequate. I don‘t see a point in developing new rounds, other than to extract money from hunters’ wallets.

I have used reloads for both of my Africa hunts. They worked out very well. I don’t see any issues regarding using reloads On Africa hunts.

Dakota was sold to Parkwest. I am curious about changes in used Dakota values since the change. There are no more newly manufactured Dakota’s. There May be a few NIB’s but none from the factory in Sturgis. Does anyone have any sense for what this is doing to the value of Dakota rifles?
