Personally, I do not use QD rings on my .375H&H. 25 years ago when I hunted bongo in the rain forest a couple of times, I did use QD rings, I still never took my scope off even in that dense vegetation. I can certainly understand why others would, they’re just not for me.

I’ll be using my .308 Kimber with a 22” barrel. That average velocity would work well. Thank you very much!! The .375H&H ammo I bought from you all performed wonderfully well.

At what velocity are you loading .308 rounds in the 165 grain Northfork soft points?

The Swift were on the lower right, those 2 shots were nearly touching. The other 2 groups were Barnes round nose solids and Barnes TSX. The Pendleton has a but more horse power.

That's exactly what I have on my 416 Rigby, and on my .375H&H I have the Leupold VX5 2x10, illuminated reticle.

I like a simple duplex reticle for dangerous game. I'm a big fan of Leupold 1x6 or 2x10, illuminated reticle.

I don't know if the guy had a gun issue, ammo issue, or what was going on, but as I watched him struggling to fire off a shot, I found myself yelling at the hunter, Shoot Man, Shoot!!!! 14 shots later between the hunter and guide, he has a very nice elephant!

I use the Axil, Xcor model. They have different levels of amplification, Bluetooth as well. What I really like is that I can hear last second input from the guide on dangerous game hunts. I would think these would really be nice on a leopard or lion hunt.

I’ve hunted Africa 20+ times, I always ask my guide how many times they’ve been charged by a Buffalo, I’ve yet to have a guide tell me they were charged more than 2 times, yet somehow Mark has made 10 or more videos containing many Buffalo charges per video. One has to think…….how is it Mark...

On my last handful of hunts I have tipped the PH 150 a day for dangerous game, PG 100 a day. Having said that, if I were to receive outstanding service, I would definitely consider tipping a bit more. As I have said numerous times on this thread, there are times when trying to sort out a tip...

When I held this rifle at the SCI show it felt very nice, and I was told it was around 8lbs. What I saw and handled was a beautiful rifle. If I were in the market for a well made .375H&H this would be at the top of my list.
