    Rebarrel a Tikka T3 from .30-06 to 9.3x62?

As mentioned above, should be an easy conversion by a competent gunsmith. Other option may be to find one in Canada and have an importer such as IRUNGUNS, or the like bring it across the border. Prophet River has a laminate version...

Fixin' to load up some 375H&H

H4350 & IMR 4350 worked well for me when creating handloads. Best groups of under an inch were achieved in the 2500-2600fps range. Bullets used were Hornady 300gr RN and Hornady 300gr FMJ as it's all I have in that weight. IMR 4350, IMR 4064, IMR 3031 worked well for the 270gr Hornady Spire...

    Interarms Mark X 7x57 Mauser

I have a Interarms Mark X as well. Shoots 145gr bullets exceptionally well. I was messing around with some Speer 145gr Gold Match bullets that I had lying around. They would shoot under 0.30" (5 shot group at 100yds) which I thought was impressive.

    The Perfect 9.3x62 Safari Rifle

I have the entire line of BRNO/CZ 9.3x62 rifles. My go to would be my ZG47 or CZ550 FS in 9.3x62. One aspect that surprised me whilst shooting the 9,3x62's is that they all shoot the exact same POI no matter which rifle I shoot them in (referring to the BRNO/CZ rifles). I shoot mainly 285/286gr...

9.3 X62 brass and bullet powder recommendation

I have yet to take an animal with my 9.3's, but here are some loads that shot well. Rifles used ZG47, ZKK 600, CZ550 (I have the complete set of BRNO rifles that were produced in this calibre to my knowledge). No matter which 9.3 I shoot the reloads all shoot with the exact same point of impact...

Sorry it's 3+1. Just realized what I typed. I just went through the email transcript I had with Corlanes back in 2015. Range report new 9.3x62

All of my BRNO/CZ rifles in 9.3x62 will shoot just under 0.75" at 100yds (5 shots) using H414 and 285gr Lapua MEGA's. Amazing round. I can interchange the same load in all the 9.3's and it shoots the same POI.

Has anyone played around with using Sierra 200gr HPBT in their 8x68s? Zastava M70 Stainless in 7x64

I had one. Regret selling it. Yes, Zastava's are a rough rifle and need to be worked in (similar to BRNO 602'S). They are exceptionally accurate though. They are also pretty tough.

Need help buying a donor rifle for 404 Jeffery later today!

    .404 Jeffery Build

Great calibre choice. I have a custom 404J built on a Win M70 Stainless 375H&H donor rifle. I would be getting a different scope as suggested by others. Eye relief would be a concern in an older scope. I would think you would want at least 4". I have a Nikon African 1-4x20 with German #4 reticle.

    Trouble grouping .375 H&H

Couple of things. Don't forget it's a hunting rifle not an F-Class rifle so groups of 1-2" are OK if staying within 300yds (my experience with my 375H&H). Are you allowing proper cool down between strings? If the barrel hasn't been "free floated" there may be contact spots in the barrel channel...

    .450 Rigby whats your opinion

I think it's a great calibre. Basically a 460 Weatherby minus about 5%, operates at less pressure, and has less recoil. I have a CZ550 in 450 Rigby. It can shoot 1" groups from the bench (I use a LeadSled with 3x25lb bags of shot for weight). I have fired it off hand at 100yd targets. Being a...

    Are .270s inherently accurate?

I Hey Bruce Agreed. I should clarify. From what I found over the years of shooting is that if the barrel channel has any pressure points they will possibly come into play when the barrel heats up. Hot barrel expands the wood creating pressure on the barrel. Has happened in several rifles that I...
