The factory Hornady DGX bonded ammo give an average of 2170fps in my .470 Krieghoff (23.5" barrels). I used it last year on a buffalo hunt in RSA..shot a big old bull in the lungs at 25 meters..the animal did not manage to move...got a follow up shot with the left barrel, Hornady DGS solid...

Could any of you run the data on N150 powder and 480 grain bullet in .450NE....? From using these powders in a .470..140 require filler...N160 give substantially more recoil, but the N150 at 90-91,5 grains and 500 grain bullet give about 2150fps with less recoil than N160..with no filler...

I have this 1906 vintage Joseph Lang .450/400 3.25.. It is on a scaled down action (pic), 28" barrels.. Now many 450/400s from this era are made on 450-500 actions and many weigh up to 11 pounds..quite unneccesary for this round.. Point is that the ones made on smaller actions are incredibly...

100% Habib....I have a 602 restocked in british fashion. The action is buttersmooth after some honing and polishing.. I have shot game from impala (overkill) via moose to elephant.. It is not your typical ele rifle but it never fails to bag.. 5 cartridges in the magazine is never wrong..
