Midway lists the sale price at 2800. Price trackers have it much lower. But every time one comes up on gunbroker… The price goes 1k more than msrp. What’s the deal? Are they really so rare? Is a new lot expected to be produced any time soon?

So Chapuis Elan's have their regulating wedge sticking out pretty far. Why is that? Why not file it back since they're already regulated to a modern load? Or file it to a rounded tab like I've seen on other rifles.
