Namibia has a different model where they are somewhat co-owned with the government. So they are basically privately managed.

There certainly are black rhinos in Namibia and that is where many of the notable ones have been hunted in recent years. Black rhinos are not publicized because there are only a tiny handful hunted each year, they go for $400k, and the antis are always after those who hunt them.

You do NOT have to be a member of a chapter. There are many people in your situation. I am sorry you don't have one in your area. You could start one! We would love to have you at the convention in Nashville where you can connect with many European SCI members.
