I’ve had the opportunity to spend some extra time in the leather shop. I have been able to finish some projects that have been under my bench for to long.

It is a .416 Rigby built on an original single square bridge Obendorfs magnum mauser action. Dennis told me he believed the action to have shipped in 1913.

Good luck if you can find the actual perpetrator. If you do you are lucky, and they are amateurs, but sometimes you will get lucky. A vast majority of times the perpetrators will play victims against each other; sometimes dozens of victims before the money will reach its final destination...

I love things made out of leather, and have made a decent living building things out of leather. One thing to consider, is leather promotes the development of green vertigris on brass cartridges. Canvas and synthetics won’t do that. It’s hard to beat the look and feel of quality leather though.
