My buddy and I are going back May 2026. One of the best I have hunted with. Sent some friends last year and they are going back in April. Top notch all the way.
I stayed at the Sea Cliff in 2023. Excellent Hotel in a good area. Lot's of bars and restaurants and a Casino. Great food. Great scenery. Rooms are cleaned on request. I wouldn't stay downtown. Too crowded and you are pretty much stuck in the Hotel.
So just got back from SCI Nashville. Heard lots of rumors that DSC had paid out their penalty in Atlanta and are coming back to TX? Anyone hear anything solid?
Both my wife and myself enjoyed and appreciated the get together. Always good to me new people and put a face to the name. Good to visit with old friends. Thankyou BnC!
I bought a pair of Leupold binos 10x42HD with the range finder. Very pleased. Have compared them with the Swarovski and Zeiss. Way lighter and range quicker. I wouldn't spend the extra $2000.00
I have switched from Barnes TSX to Hornady CX whenever the caliber is available. I have found 3 consistent things. 1. Less copper fouling. 2. Slightly better accuracy. 3. Less powder very small difference to acheive the same velocity. Also the expansion is better at longer ranges. Hornady is a...
Well Chile my research is done
I have been a resident in both Provinces for longer than you've been around. Wildlife identification number WIN is Alberta. Hunter Angling License HAL is Saskatchewan . You might want to pull your horns in before you accuse a fellow AH Member of not doing research.
The only time I had my headstamps checked was when I was in SA in 97. Been back there 3 times as well as Zimbabwe and Tanzania. Never checked since 97.
Well not joking! Our Socialist/ Communist leader is done and on his way out. So I would be more worried if the US can get rid of their Socialist/ Communist Party. How confident are you that will happen?
I have shot 2 Moose and a Mule Deer and Whitetail with mine using 210 Partitions. Excellent performance. 80yds one Deer and 225yds on the other. Moose 100 and 175yds. DRT to 40yds and down. No 2nd shot needed. It is actually on my short list for my next African trip.
You would have to be smoking something pretty strong or demented to understand unrealized Capital Gains. Oh wait it was someone demented who came up with the idea.
I have used Alaskan Arms and Leupold. Both were very good. Only used them on Dangerous Game rifles sighted at 100yds. Took both off several times and put them back on. Within an inch or less from zero so easily good to 200yds.
I took a 7x64 to the Eastern cape for my nephew and myself. Shot Gemsbok, Kudu, Impala, Blesbok, Warthog, Mtn. Reedbuck, Zebra and Sprinbok. Used 150gr. Hornady CX and they worked great.
