Why avoid Hornady DG bullets and ammunition?

I would like to see more actual 1st hand photos and reports of Hornady DG being used in Africa on dangerous game. Many opinions from people whom have not used any Hornady DG bullet let alone whom have not used them in Africa. A more critical analysis would be nice from hunters who have been to...

416 Rigby or Rem & is 20” too short?

According to the OP, Wayne at AHR did the work other than paint....I dont think anyone would call Wayne's work "Bubba" style. To this threads OP. Is 20" too short for a Rigby? Depends solely on you. If you load your own and have the components, it might be a fun project. People bought...

    Sighting in with a bipod?

Little off your main topic, but this is one reason I like a V-block bedding with a truly free floated barrel. The dynamic between the barrel and stock wont ever change and thus pressure from shooting off a sand bag or bipod should not see a change in POI. To your point, you have more contact...

That's honestly good to hear. However, the accusations of being "rude", "nasty" amd unresponsive were still presented. It would seem to be owed to the thread for Keith to post those emails or send to Brickburn, eluded to with those "rude" and "nasty" messages.

This. I travel internationally for work about 70-80 days a year. My carry on always has the bare necessities as I've had my checked bag delayed multiple days multiple times. Sometimes lost all together. Goes so far as wearing my boots (I wear boots almost exclusively in Asia) to the airport...

Think we're splitting hairs when we talk about felt recoil between a 400 gr bullet at 2100 FPS from a 416RM vs 404J....when you're already into the 40#+ range I don't think I could separate out. I truly think that is the key, along with stock design. You don't need to shoot hot rodded loads all the time, and if you work up/down your load to what the intended use if for (usually can then be used effectively on any smaller game if the need arises) and something you're comfortable...
