Can you elaborate on the style of hunting, conditions, types of ducks, cost of shells,gun rentals, lodging, is there still a moratorium on bringing back waterfowl to states for taxidermy, etc.
Been looking at those…. Hard to find. Guessing a supply & demand issue. Saw where they are going for over $2000!!! Crazy, the Henry’s are about half that.
Get with a guy like @gizmo to help you work through the logistics of the transportation & taxidermy. He has handled a lot of Africa shipments. He will tell you the truth of expectations. Legit timing & pricing. Not some advertisement or unreal expectations.
Golf [emoji466]️ too!!!! I hit a shot that left a divot on the neck of cup, ball went 30 yards past the hole…. I have also sent a worm burner off the tee to end up an 1”from the cup….. sometimes it’s whipped cream on a turd. Better to be lucky than good! [emoji23]
I hunted Limpopo in early September…. Covered a lot of ground. Weather was perfect. Cool mornings & mild/warm afternoons. Pleasant nights for night hunting.
3, 5, 7%…. Doesn’t seem like huge numbers. However, when it is extrapolated to the end user, it’s more like 30%. Look at the “little things”. Your $7 lunch is now $10.

I am located in DFW….. I have seen all the good & bad come and go. I personally use @gizmo. Not only are we friends, but I can count on his operation to be fair and transparent with all the BS going on with operations and logistics. Tanneries seem to be the hold up. That being said, I don’t mind...
Culling is a process….. sometimes easy, sometimes not. If strategic, then it is & had to be very accurate & methodical. Depending upon the species, it might be just mowing them down, other times, it is delicately picking apart. Definitely not a one size fits all.
Certainly a great conversation. More to the PC world of what can/can’t be said in fear of being ostracized or labeled…. Slandered/libeled. It’s a sad day, but that is the world we live in. Are we to get he point it’s acceptable to take a young animal far from its prime for meat, or only animal...
