I don’t plan on taking it ahead of time. I just went and got it as a precautionary measure, that’s why I stated “I would have it on standby if needed. I will fly into Port Elizabeth and hunt a hour or two North of there.

I leave for South Africa in few weeks. After reading this post I went to the doctor today and ask her for a script of Doxycycline, which she gladly gave me. So I will have it on standby if needed. I also have permethrin to spray on all my stuff.
