Some people who appear to work for Sako chimed in on some of my Facebook posts. They said they are a small company of 350 people and this is all they felt they could offer at the beginning and deliver products. They have gotten some large military contracts recently in Europe. They said that...
Sako launched the 90 series this morning to replace the 85. Sadly no Safari configurations and nothing above 375HH and nothing at all in 9.3x62. That was a disappointment to see as I really wanted a 500J

There appears to be readily available options other than RCBS through multiple sources. I was more just looking to see if anyone here had one they didn't need. Appreciate the input from all.
This is the second and last of these I have for sale. This one is new in original box unfired. I rate it at 99%. I don't see a blemish on it. $1325 OBO. Shipped to your FFL.
Message me with your cell number and I can send more pictures
Interesting. Thank you for the heads up. I will call RCBS and see what they say since my dies are RCBS. I know Redding I believe makes them for about $25 as well and are available
Anyone done with one or have an extra they want to unload. I'm going to get into 500J and picked up a set of dies and realized I need the bushing to allow my Rockchucker to accept the 1" dies. I know they are readily available but thought I would check here
@RRP....those are pretty normal mouths on new brass. Not sure why but every batch of new Rem, Winchester brass I ever had seems to be that way. Those straighten right out when resizing.
I know this is hard to believe for a lot of folks on here but to spend 10k on a single rifle you would have to have 10k. I sure don't know anyone with 10k laying around let alone for a rifle or even a hunt for that matter
Selling individually or as a lot. These are for a Thompson Center Encore. Can take PP FF, zelle, cash, check. Cross posted
1.-Leupold dual dove tail base and 1" Rings. All mounting screws included $25 Shipped
2. T/C one piece mount with 1" rings. All mounting screws included $25 Shipped

Kevin was confident he could make it work. Price was in-line. Probably will go that route when I pull the trigger on this. I think I'm going to hold out and maybe find a Sako Brown Bear first or if rumor is true Sako may be introducing a new line and hopefully a 500J will make that.
A gun has not been made in 350 Rem mag since Remington failed again when they re introduced it one year in 2002. Prior to that production ceased in 1974. With no production gun I seriously doubt you see the line spun up again for it. Maybe the new Remington ammo after bankruptcy plans a run...
I'm not sure what you mean retail. 350 Rem mag brass hasn't been made in 25 years and will never ever be made again. It's a long dead caliber. That is new old stock brass thats never been loaded. Last of that I saw on gbroker went for over $4 a piece after tax and shipping
Contact Raven Rocks Precision. He is a sponsor here and He just got had 200+ pieces of brass. New old stock.

With Wayne at AHR out of the picture and his replacement Matrix Gunsmithing not accepting anymore work anytime soon and not able to even get to pricing projects who else is there.
I have a complete CZ550 safari classic action in 375hh that I would like to get barreled and made to feed right in...
Dipping my toes into a 500 J on a CZ550 action. I realize this is not a caliber you shoot a ton but what is brass life like? How many pieces of brass is a "lifetime" supply assuming only loss of brass is brass failure?
Selling a like new CZ-97B. CZ discontinued these very popular pistols last year and they are getting hard to come by. This is all stock and round count at most a couple boxes. Comes with 2 magazines. $925 Shipped to your FFL.
I am looking to see what might be out there in a stock to fit a CZ-550 magnum action. Surely someone has a takeoff stock. I bought a complete Safari Classic action for a build.
Thanks
I am looking for options on a 500 Jeffery and I do not have mega money some of these rifles cost. I had settled on a CZ-550 conversion.
Then I saw that Sako at one point made the brown bear in a 500J. I cant find much about them other than it seems to be out of production. Are there actually...
Just placed an order with them. Very responsive to questions. Looking forward to getting brass and bullets. Glad to see someone is making this hard to get brass available to the market
I been watching this across the board on once desirable rifles. Disposable income is declining fast in Biden's America. People cant afford the rifles let alone the hunts to use them and lastly the next generation only wants black plastic guns. I fear these types of things could be nearly...
Thanks for all this info this helps tremendously.
Does anyone know if the CZ550 in 300 win mag is the same action length as say 375 or 458? As far as starting with a donor rifle?
@IvW What is the difference in the 550 action vs 602? What additional work is involved in a 550 conversion to 500J vs on a 602? 602 is going to prove a challenge to find I think.
makes sense. I think the larger issue is in the US at least I have never once seen a 602. Even gbroker does not have many if any recent. Maybe that's more available outside US?
Thank you for the info. Is there a host caliber gun that is easier to work with or stock needs little or nothing change? Like 458 for example? A CZ550 can work though correct?
I been looking over things here for awhile but finally joined. I recently acquired 2 whitworths, a 458 and a 375. Haven't even gathered all the components to load and shoot them yet. That said this big bore thing has hit me hard.
I been reading through the info on the 500J. I dont have deep...
@cash_tx @mdwest There were two whitworths at the Southfork show in Dallas. One was ugly in a composite stock and was modified and looked to be heavy use. The other that the older fella had and was asking 895 for well it went home with me for 750 OTD Sunday afternoon. It looks new unfired...
