    Best Camo!

Hi there Mudslinger, Congratulations with those excellent trophy's. Camo alone doesn't do the job; you need to have all the other factors in your favour too for a successful hunt. Do not worry too much about the red shirt it could have been worse in pink.;) Thank you for posting some pictures!

What kind of quiver do you use?

Stretch, you can be sure that the package includes the new quiver. With a 85# bow and 450gr arrow at 310ft/s you can shoot a monkey in the head or in the vitals it doesn,t matter.;)

What kind of quiver do you use?

I use a PSE 4 arrow quick release quiver. Personally I do not like to hunt with the quiver attached to my bow, quivers tend to cause extra noise and hook against brush when stalking. I would rather give the quiver to the guide to carry instead of carrying it on the bow. I usually take...

for shooting Oryx ---- is .270 WSM ok ?

Seaside, You should ask youself the question: Am I confident with my .270? As long as you are confident a .243 will do the job. It is not the size of the bullet that will do the job but the accurate bullet. An old time friend and great hunter told me that a small hole in the heart is better...

WHEN DO YOU CALL THE HUNT IS OVER?

Spike.t, Diamondhitch, Rohan and Debutt. Thank you for your inputs on this sensitive subject, I know it might open up a can of worms butt still I think it needs to be discussed. We as hunters are being watched with eagle eyes by green organizations. And video clips like Rohan was referring to...

WHEN DO YOU CALL THE HUNT IS OVER?

Because of the thread posted by Rohan ( Bow Hunting DG ) I thought that this might be an interesting topic. When do you think the PH should make the call to take a wounded animal out of his misery after a client made a bad shot with a rifle or a bow? After the clients second or third or...

    Bowhunting: Big Five/DG

Hi Rohan, Wayne and Louis comments summed it up very well. The general rule of thumb is to take a wounded animal out of its misery as quick as possible whether it is with a bow, rifle, handgun or a black powder rifle. Most of these cases are caused by POOR SHOT PLACEMENT, hunters who...
