I'm in the US...............and I've loaded nickel plated brass for all sorts of other calibers. And, upon doing some more thinking, and reading more recent replies to this thread, I'll most definitely be purchasing some nickel plated for the Jeffery as well!!!!!!!!!!!

My instinct to look at scopes, just to "see what I can find" has taken over me, haha. I really think I'm going to keep it open sights...............but with Sako having their cool Optilock system, heavy recoil would be no problem with a good optic. I'm just beginning to wonder if I'd be doing...

I think I'll make it easy on myself and just go with regular Norma brass.............I don't feel like dealing with the added worry of the wear and tear on my equipment from the nickel. With normal dies......I wouldn't worry to much...........but with dies that cost almost $500, NO...

Also, I've settled I think on a load that will put me right at 2130 FPS with a 600 grain bullet.........plenty to get the job done.........6050 ft lbs..........and should keep the recoil down a bit.

Yeah, I was wearing a skin tight under-armor heat gear shirt.....................it's like a second skin, no padding of any kind. I def think I should be good in a day or so.........heal up and be ready to rock again!
