375 Ruger brass

I received an email today at 1:16pm from Midway USA stating that .375 Ruger brass was back in stock at $68.99/50. Went to order some just now at 3:50pm and it’s gone.

many years ago when I couldn't get brass for my .375 ruger a guy on long range hunting showed he made brass from .300 win mag. He also showed he was using 8x68mm and cut brass in half to show the area above belt was soild. My gun is a ruger 2008 model no brake SS with factory black coat 20" barrel. I'll go step by step to explain how to safly convert other brass to .375 ruger,

My equipment: rcbs rockchucker press, rcbs fl sizing die, rcbs seat die, hornaday form and trim die, lee factory crimp die and rcbs mandrel .30 to .40 cal expander. The most imortant thing is to have 0 headspace. This is not for folks that just started reloading. The brass that works best is long brass; .300 wm, .300 wby, .340 wby, .416 rem, 8mm rem mag, .375 H&H. The next important thing is the length of case, brass gets longer when shot normally but when you blow out the case it shrinks.

take .300 win mag, at belt .532 above bely .511, the body is not going to touch inside chamber. Take form and trim die or fl sizing die without stem, don't turn it down all the way. size the case, the bolt should not close because you are slowly going to turn die down until bolt closes tight. leave case long, measure it. The next imortant thing is to know you maximum OAL where case mouth touchs lead.

Don’t feel too bad….i got the same email and went in about 2:20 and it was gone

Next: part of your neck is .375 the other is .30, now anneal neck. Next I use a .338 expander ball before going to .375. Once this is done load normally ( not max ) remember to work up loads because your using different brass. Other brass may require some other operations, on a bet I made useable .375 ruger brass from 7mm rem mag. any questions, happy to help and get you guys shooting those guns

I think Midway was filling back orders from a LONG time ago which ate up the inventory they just received. At least Hornady appears to be making the brass again.

Midway shows it in stock but you can’t order it? WTH! Graffs still shows available. Good prices on their .375 Ruger factory ammo too.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
