I’ve been contemplating doing insurance on my trophies and guns, this looks like an affordable option.

Timely post as I’m questioning whether to re-up with another firm, Cole.

I had two questions but one was answered reading the FAQS on your website. Was hoping your policies covered ammo/reloading supplies but see they do not. The other question- are firearms that are shipped via common carrier still covered against theft/damage if they are being shipped as part of the sale of that firearm? Thanks.

We do not cover ammo but do cover reloading equipment. Yes theft is covered anywhere in the world including in shipping/transit, a police report is required.

I assume you are only insuring weapons owned by US citizens?
Correct, the collection has to primarily be stored in the US

How do set valve of collection? Via pictures or send representative to my hose to look at collection?

Do you mind explaining a bit more on Trophies/guns coverage? What's covered, and under what conditions. Thank you!

They have a species and value of each on their website, to me all seem pretty reasonable except for roan antelope. I’m pretty sure I’m going to get some of this insurance.

I meant fire arm collection. Sorry have a decent size collection and definitely would be interested in coverage

From FAQ:

6.) Do you require appraisals or pictures?

Unlike most homeowners insurance carriers, we only require appraisals or bills of sale for individual items over $50k. Items over $50k also need approval prior to securing coverage.

A blanket/unscheduled limit can be used for items under $10k. Items over $10k need to be scheduled with a stated amount. Feel free to reach out to us directly to discuss your specific needs. support@gunandtrophy.com

The FAQ page of our site goes through a bit of detail. The most common losses are breakage, loss or damage in transit and theft however natural perils are covered as well i.e. fire, flood wind.

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
