This is the Guerini Knockabout made for Orvis. It features 28" bbls, single selective trigger, 3" chambers, ejectors, leather covered recoil pad, and choke tubes. Somewhere I have the original Guerini case for the gun and I will send it with the gun if I can find it, but no guarantees. I bought this one after taking some shotgun training at Orvis a few years back, but my good friend WAB has convinced me to hunt with a fine English double, and I don't use this Guerini at all anymore. Overall condition is at least 98%. I used it on two quail hunts in Arizona and otherwise it is a safe queen. Price is $4000 delivered to your ffl, unless you happen to be in Arizona.

Let’s lower the price to $3250 delivered.

Last drop. $2850

If you could stretch those tubes out 2” I’d snap it up for my son. Good deal on a nice O/U

I like mine. Nice guns

@Bullthrower338 I know the trend now is towards longer barrels for Clays guns - 30” and 32” dominate Sporting Clays and Skeet competitions, like Women’s skirts (longer/shorter) it is part “trend & fashion” and also personal preference. Many skeet shooters have run “100 Straights” with 26” barrels and 28” was the common length on Clays fields in the early 1990s — then 30” and now 32” - rarely 34” (will I live to see 40”??). For a hunting gun I can’t believe it will and add any “Game in the bag” to go over 28” but it is a personal decision. $2800 for a Caesar Guerini (about the cost of a Citori) is a good buy. Their Customer service is outstanding, their gunsmiths and repairs are located in Maryland, their actions will last several 100,000 rounds and hold up to high volume shooting and competitions, better then average wood & checkering…..as you can tell I’m a fan !
Still, for shooting clays I selected 32” barrels for both of mine and I Now regret it - 30” would’ve been just fine for Clays and for Hunting I still prefer my 28” O/U.
I know one thing - If my DAD bought me a Caesar Guerini —— I would NOT Complain about the barrel length !!
