Gents,
For sale is a M70 XTR Sporter (I'm told this was a Euro model/release from Winchester) in 6.5x55 Swedish. As you can see, it has taps for open sights (I do not have them) AND the barrel has been threaded if you want to run it suppressed. I don't own any suppressors, but a 14x1RH nut screws on perfectly. Wood has some "love marks" but with a little bit of attention and oil, would be looking brand new again in not much time. (Photos tell the full story.) The action is slick and the trigger solid. I have not fired this rifle. Cross-listed.
(Long story short: I bought it planning to either cap the threaded muzzle OR cut off the threaded portion and put the sights back on... but it just seems like a waste and I'm guessing someone will want to actually run it suppressed.)
Lower 48 only and no CA. Will ship via SMG to your FFL (they must accept from an individual). Will be insured for full purchase price. Payment via USPSMO or check (in latter case will ship after it clears).
