Shotgun choices for a Woman

My sweetheart is 5' 2" and modest build, do not know her LOP yet. Appreciate hearing from all members that have knowledge of shotguns for ladies. I noticed a slight downside to this marriage thing, she has cast her eyes on my Chapuis double in 9.3 x 74R, likes the wood and engraving. At a recent SCI banquet my bud said his wife has taken control of some of his shootin' irons. Oh well, just an excuse to buy more I guess. I know the enablers here will help me out. She gets the Chapuis—you get a new Heym etc. I solve problems. It’s what I do.
 
I got a Benelli Montefeltro 20ga for my son when he was 12 or so. It came with a short stock. When he grew we found an adult stock. It has some shims to adjust cast off/on. I think it kicked pretty damned hard even with low base target loads. It’s been super reliable. It weighs nothing. I’d probably go gas over inertia if I had it to do over.

My wife chose the Syren Elos D2 and has been very happy with it. Ordered through August Crocker who was great to deal with.
Although it is a lighter field gun, the recoil is not a problem for her to shoot a round or two of sporting clays.

Well, that settles it then. If she bought a complete Beretta outfit she has to match that with a shotgun. The Beretta store can easily fit her for a nice 2 barrel set O/U. One a 20 gauge, the other a 28 gauge.
She will thank me, your checkbook won't! LOL

Sometimes I feel like I'm misrepresenting because I often wear a Beretta ball cap, but am usually found carrying a Benelli SBE3 or Blaser F3. However I did buy the caps when I owned two 686's and still currently have a 1301. ;) Beretta makes some damn good clothing.
