Up for sale is a BRAND NEW Sako 85 Safari Deluxe, chambered in .375 H&H. This rifle has never been fired (excluding any factory shots, I believe they shoot 2 rounds for testing), or hunted with in any way. The wood and metal are 100% condition just as it came out of box. Includes original box with instruction manual, sling swivels, etc.

I have included a picture with the Specs of the rifle for reference.

Recently I have been interested in adding a Sako 85 or two into my collection. This model appealed to me because the caliber is something that I could hunt anything with. After putting more thought into it I think that I will go with a smaller caliber more suited to medium sized game. This is why I have decided to sell this rifle.

Will ship to United States only to the buyers FFL. If you have any questions on this rifle, feel free to send me a private message.

Asking $10,500 with FREE SHIPPING AND PACKAGE INSURANCE

Beautiful rifle.

I have a feeling you will regret selling this, especially considering you are a now member of AH. No reason you can't have another SAKO 85 and keep this one too. Maybe a 30-06 to make the perfect African pair?

In any event, GLWTS.

I have a question Sir. Does this rifle use a fixed blade ejector? or a spring loaded plunger ejector? If you are not sure, please post a pic of the bolt face. I ask only because I own three Sako type rifles. One is an S20 that uses a plunger ejector and the other two were Sako 85 clone actions but they use a fixed blade ejector. Lovely rifle. I cannot comment on it otherwise except to say my Sakos are some of my most accurate firearms.

That's a beauty!

Did you list it on SAKO collectors club?

The pictures are exceptional and the rifle is a real specimen. Am I the only one that's wildly impressed that you never shot it? That rifle would have been at the range on day 2 of ownership with me. You are an oak.

Is this rifle listed anywhere else?

Stunning Rifle, absolutely beautiful!! GLWS!

Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
