Located in Montana. Only posted here. Willing to email, phone call etc any way to make someone comfortable with purchasing, I have done multiple deals with members on here.

Guns will ship USPS priority with insurance. Prices are shipped in lower 48.

Have two Ruger Number ones.

The first is a friend of mine who hasn’t had any luck selling it at MT gunshows so I offered to put it on here for him. It is in my possession and he said I can take care of it for him but any trade offers etc I would have to run by him. It is a 1976 .458 with custom wood. It’s absolutely beautiful. It comes with rings but no box etc. the guy he got it from claimed he had spent $1,100 on the stock. He is wanting $1850 shipped.

The second is mine. A Cabelas 50th anniversary edition .300 H&H. 26” barrel it is unfired. No box or accessories. I got it and wrestled with firing it for some time, but I know it won’t shoot as well as my pre-64 .300 H&H so figured I’d recoup my money and look for some toys. I would like $2,000 shipped.

We are both open to some trade offers, or OBO cash offers. Worst we can say is no.

I personally am looking for (In Order)
Leupold VXR 2-7
Leupold VX III Matte finish non CDS 2.5-8
Leupold VXR 3-9

All payments options are open. It’s whatever you are comfortable with just talk and let me know. Thank yall for your time

To clarify: The .458 is a Winchester Magnum. I apologize for not mentioning it earlier. The barrel marking was clear and it was made in 1976. The .458 lott wasn't made in the Number 1 until 2002 so I hadn't thought to clarify. Again, I apologize for the mis-communications.

Good looking #1s. I hunted last year with a guy who has over 400 in his collection. That 300 H&H is classy and would cover a lot of hunting options. Someone here needs it.

I have not shot the .300 H&H, it is unfired. That’s why I was wrestling with shooting it since even without a box it is somewhat collectible.

And realistically I don’t think it would unseat my Winchester pre-64 .300 H&H from my cabinet as it does 3 shot groups I can cover with a quarter.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
