I have become a Rancher

Congratulations! Can you tell us about the fencing required?
I'd prefer not to get into that as websites like this are being trolled be poachers looking for any information they can use to learn where Rhino ranches might be, including things as innocent as where to get fencing which of course they can use to narrow down their search.

CONGRTULATIONS! I think that is awesome and I sincerely hope it works out for you.

How big is the property you now have them on?

Do you have to have constant anti poaching patrols?

Hopefully in the future they make it legal and create a way that rhino ranchers can legally sell horns to help offset costs
I'd prefer not to get into that as websites like this are being trolled be poachers looking for any information they can use to learn where Rhino ranches might be. But great questions. Someday if the world ever pulls their collective head out of the collective you know what, maybe we won't have to worry about poachers as much. A great documentary, if you haven't seen it, is titled "Trophy" and was released in 2017. The Rhino rancher no longer has his Rhinos but you get to see and hear the challenges he faced.

One of the most gut wrenching things I have seen is the aftermath of a female rhino poached for her horn and the baby is trying to nurse afterwards....very dark...very wrong.

Congrats on following your heart and your passion! I hope this endeavor can be updated from time to time so we can live vicariously through your journey. Kudos!

Thanks for posting this topic and you're right not to give out more info than necessary. We look forward to hearing updates as you can offer them in the future. Rhinos are like living dinosaurs to me...and we need to help them as you are doing. The parts I've been personally involved with are incredible memories and very worthwhile.

Awesome!

Kudo's to you!

I'm a "rancher" with 3 only cows...

Wishing you success and may the world come to its senses and allow trading and soon.

Just starting the purchase of six additional White Rhino, five dehorned males (including the one in the photo) and one female. That brings our total to nineteen. Pretty cool.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
