Well we finally got our 500 Jeffrey brass and we are going hard on load development... here is what we are working on for bullets:
  • Cutting Edge Bullets 500 Gr Safari Solid
  • Cutting Edge Bullets 550 Gr Safari Solid
  • North Fork Bullets 500 Gr Flat Point Solid
  • North Fork Bullets 500 Gr Soft Point
We plan to add the Swift A-Frame bullets when they are available. But these are good bullets that should fit the bill for now and suffice for any safari.
 
I would try and develop a 570 Grain and 600 grain Soft/Solid combo for that caliber.

You have the best of the best! I have used the CEB Raptor in 50-110 Win.on buffalo and was very satisfied with it. DRT.

570 soft/solid by NorthFork makes sense to me.
 
Any plans to use the 570Gr Barnes Banded solid (the flat nosed one intended for the .500 Nitro Express) ?
