Does the 2-12 have a cds turret? The box says it does but does not appear in pic?

Standard turret. There is not a coupon in the 2-12x42 box for a free CDS turret as it was missing when I purchased that scope. The 1-6x24 has the CDS coupon in the box.

Thanks! An you send me a pic with the elevation turret off?

I don’t think a cds turret can be added to this, it’s does have an illuminated dott thought correct? There is a spot for battery?

The serial numbers match on box and scope so yes, a CDS dial can be installed. These do not come with a CDS turret as it must be customized to the specific load requested. Do not confuse CDS with ZL2.
Any time you see the term "FireDot" on a Leupold it has an illuminated reticle which requires a battery to be installed in the left side turret.
I would suggest going to the Leupold website and familiarize yourself with the VX-6 and VX-6HD line.

Thanks, I had some older non zero lock cds and never realized the vx6 could come with a capped turret or add the dial when desired.

VX-6 2-12x42 Sold pending funds. Thanks!

VX-6HD 1-6x24 $950.00 shipped

The last few Leupold scopes I've purchased didn't have a coupon in the box. The serial number was used at the Leupold website or over the phone to order a custom dial.

This could possibly lead to someone fraudulently ordering dials off serial numbers they’ve seen on forum for sale listings, like this. It would be better if they included a coupon code in the box with the scope.

Tempted by the 1-6 but then I’d need a new rifle.

I'm quite sure Leupold records the serial numbers that have a dial ordered against that scope. If Leupold included a coupon with a specific code number of some sort, they would also have to track those, plus the serial number it was to be used against.

In my opinion, it's probably better to leave out specific information on a public forum, including full name, address, phone number, email, firearm or product serial number, etc.

Is 1-6 still available
The 2-12 has been sold and the 1-6 has been consigned elsewhere and no longer available through this forum. I apologize for not updating the listing.

I have a question about your scope. Is the Innomount an SR-to-Picatinny mount?

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.

I saw your post regarding a hunt in Africa. I am sure you have been bombarded with messages and replies from other outfitters, so I will keep this one quick.
I have a feeling we have exactly what you need for a first safari.
