Hello all,

Only 12 original A-Square T-Rex rifles were made for the U.S. market. - In the last couple of years one sold at auction for over $26,000. (see the auction link below)

I am offering a package deal for only $16,500 delivered FFL to FFL - package includes: Quick-Detachable Leupold M8-2x Ext "Scout-Mounted" scope, reloading dies, 20 pcs brass, 50 bullets, and ONE box of original A-Square T-Rex Factory ammo. - (more original factory ammo is available for $1,000 per box of 10)

24" barrel - 14" LOP - 15-1/2 lbs loaded - Up Graded Accent package stock - The Custom Lever Quick detachable scope is "Scout mounted" to keep the action area clear for fast reloading the magazine, and to keep the scope far ahead of your face during heavy recoil. Easy" on-off" allows for fast change to iron sites, and back to scope again. This is the only T-Rex with this custom feature.

The .577 Tyrannosaur or .577 T-Rex (14.9×76mm) is a very large and powerful rifle cartridge developed by A-Square in 1993 on request for professional guides in Zimbabwe who escort clients hunting dangerous game. The cartridge is designed for use in "stopping rifles" intended to stop the charge of dangerous game. The cartridge contains a .585-inch (14.9 mm) diameter 750-grain (49 g) monolithic solid projectile which when fired moves at 2,460 ft/s (750 m/s) producing 10,180 foot-pounds force (13,800 J) of muzzle energy. The production model from A-square was based on their Hannibal rifle. A-Square is defunct as of 2012.

Are the tyrannosaurs exportable from Isla Nublar? Asking for a friend.

Isla Nublar is a fictional volcanic island, 120 miles off the west coast of Costa Rica, that served as the location for both the original Jurassic Park and the later Jurassic World theme park

Gah I need to pick up a 14 or 17 and have a rexy built, being an avid fossil collector.
Don’t wanna shoot the thing though :ROFLMAO:

It's just amazing. I wish I had this rifle. I don't know why I need it. But I'm like a child, I just want to and I can't explain it.
you only remember the guns you could have bought - but didn't

Well, you can’t say you are a big bore collector or a A Square collector without one. So there is a buyer out there somewhere. Good luck.

Needing and wanting is the same thing.:)

Beautiful wood, but strange pistol grip design. Anyone know the logic behind it? My guess is so the trigger guard didn't bust your knuckles on recoil.

Not only tough on your wallet but your shoulder as well! Would love to have it, would hate to actually use it.

The A-Square loading manual "Any Shot You Want" has a chapter telling about the A-Square stock's design, and how it came to be.

To add heft (mass) and even more importantly, to gradually work the oversized stock out to (Col. Art Alphin's) Coil-Chek butt design (much larger surface area results in reduced felt recoil by lowering the psi via the larger surface area). It works! My .338 A-Sq (338-460 Wby essentially and wildcat which originally became the 338-378 Wby) feels like a 7 mag (exactly what the Col. said about it.) PHs love 'em (NO muzzle brakes necessary!)

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.

Hi Paul,
This is Daniel from Mankazana Safaris.

I saw your post regarding a hunt in Africa. I am sure you have been bombarded with messages and replies from other outfitters, so I will keep this one quick.
I have a feeling we have exactly what you need for a first safari.
If you'd like to hear more, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Yours sincerely,
