Hello all, I just bought a beautiful 1973 Browning magnum Auto 5. I am looking for another barrel, preferably a 3 inch chamber, to cut down to 18 inches. The factory barrel is 30 inches and is beautiful so I don't want to mess with it.

I just want to have a shorter barrel for playing at the range or pig hunting or something. Anyway if anyone has a 3 inch A5 barrel they're willing to part with let me know. It can be in rough shape, I'm not too picky.

Cheers

Have you looked on barrelexchange.com? Lots of shotgun barrels available.

Wy not just leave as is? You'd probably find another semi-auto for as much as you'd find another A5 barrel

Well if I find another cheap a5 I'd get it. Just looking for a beater barrel to cut down and play with. I'll keep the factory one the same for duck hunting.

Cheers

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.

Hi Paul,
This is Daniel from Mankazana Safaris.

I saw your post regarding a hunt in Africa. I am sure you have been bombarded with messages and replies from other outfitters, so I will keep this one quick.
I have a feeling we have exactly what you need for a first safari.
If you'd like to hear more, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Yours sincerely,

If you ever decide to sell this rifle, I will buy it with the dies, bullet, brass, the works. Dan
