OK Boys, let’s play a little trivia!

The redhead in McClintock said something real similar but I don’t think that’s the one your after
Maureen O'Hara - Total smoke show in her day. She also advocated for John Wayne in 1979 in front of Congress to have a medal awarded to him. The Congressional Gold Medal was awarded in 1980, posthumously.

And that's the same quote I was thinking of.

- Who gave you that black eye?

- Nobody gave it to me, son--I fought for it.

Let's see who gets this without using Google.

I’ve been racking my brain I’m sure it was sam Elliot who said it but I can’t come up with what in.

The one that originally sprang to my was why mrs. McClintock you have a black eye did he give it to you? Nobody gave it to me I won it.

It was the conversation where mrs Warren set mrs McClintock straight in private.

"... on a wild goose chase with a nincompoop and a harpie in britches."

I know not all that may be coming but be it what it will I’ll go to it laughing

The secret of a long life is you try not to shorten it.

Or

Sam Peckinpah. That's a beautiful name in Navajo.

If ever I meet one of you Texas waddies who ain't drunk from a hoof print, I think I'll shake his hand or buy them a Daniel Webster ceee-gar

A line from the True Grit remake me and my friends constantly quote when something goes wrong.

"Well... that didn't pan out"

The horse trading scene in either movie is perfection.

I suppose I'll have to watch both of them again...

I never cared for the remake bridges was ok Damon wasn’t much in it which is a shame because I like his acting.

I get it and my compadres go round and round about it. Both movies have their good parts and their bad parts. I think the second more closely follows the book, but, whatever, it's just entertainment.

I like this thread, though.

I have a question about your scope. Is the Innomount an SR-to-Picatinny mount?

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.

Hi Paul,
This is Daniel from Mankazana Safaris.

I saw your post regarding a hunt in Africa. I am sure you have been bombarded with messages and replies from other outfitters, so I will keep this one quick.
I have a feeling we have exactly what you need for a first safari.
If you'd like to hear more, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Yours sincerely,
