Opinions or experience with Swarovski thermal clip-ons? (tM 35+ vs. tM 35.2)

I would not buy the Binoculars, they are still working them out. I have used multiple sets of Thermal binoculars up to the $5000 range. Not impressed. I think in a few years this will be the go to.

It is the same with the Leica. They are just expensive. How much are the Swaro adapters?
Philip. If you really want a thermal I would strongly consider looking at dedicated thermal. With our Blaser r8 you can use the Innomount zero and swap scopes in seconds. A dedicated scope gives a better experience.

You can get a great 640 resolution pulsar, Rix, Hik, or Ray for around 3k.

I have the pulsar merger binos. Best piece of thermal kit I have. I use them more than any piece of hunting equipment I have. They are fantastic.

I was considering getting swarovski thermal, and I came across Liemke LUCHS-1 35mm Thermal Clip-On.
Does anyone have experience with this scope?View attachment 666328
I’ve used the liemke. They have a co branding with Blaser so if you use a Blaser it is the clip on I would recommend.

I changed my Zeiss to a Minox 3-15x56 which the Pard 007 works perfectly on.
Every bit as good a scope as the Zeiss Duralyt if not better.

Are these thermal clip ONS legal to take to Africa? Customs at my airport told me I couldn't take a thermal scope I didn't know if clip ons were different.

OP - Look into the Pulsar Duo. It’s great and has dual function covered in spades. Add a red dot to your scope ring and you’re covered in the case of complete failure.

I’ve used both and found the TM 35-2 has faster startup and better contrast in rain or fog. Battery life feels longer too, though the difference isn’t huge in real-world use.

I have a new TM35 clip-on and a new Swarovski Li-ion rechargeable battery for the Thermal scope . I will sell both for $100.00 plus $20.00 for shipping

Huh?

I’ll take it but it sounds like you’ve been hacked. Ha

Please send me a DM with address, name & phone number and I will contact you.
thanks,
Manny

I thought you meant the actual thermal. You just mean the adapter correct?

Yes just the clip on and a new rechargeable battery

My mistake. I thought you meant the actual thermal.

The European thermals suck. It is an optical arms race the Chinese are kicking their ass on.

Here in Europe the Geman optics companies can't adapt quick enough. The Chinese ones are years ahead. If you don't believe me, fly over here and go to Frankonia and try them all. Ideally Wurzburg, as that is the biggest shop with the most thermals.

I wanted the Zeiss mid-grade model at $1800. I spent 3 hours using everything my dealer had in stock and I left the store with a $2800 HK Micro model for $1600 as it was a demo.

The demand here is huge, as most European nations have allowed them for hunting during the day time. And for hunting pigs and night. So everyone is using them all the time. I used mine to find a fox I would have never have seen a few weeks ago, who took a nap 250 yards from me on a hillside. I would have never found him.

I assume you mean from the US to anywhere international.

There's a reason no one is answering you............

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
